Power fc and '98 R33

OK, i've got a SII '98 R33 40th Anniversary. A normal power fc and hc costs $1150.

For mine, the cost is $1600+ [from nengun]. It's a special order for my model.

I'm not disputing the cost etc [this is not my intent], what I do want to know is what is so different about my skyline compared to earier models??????

The only differance ive seen is the last 33s had the same CAS as R34s but still the same output signal but there could be more.

I have the same model as you, the 40th an edition and already bought the standard FC and Controller from nengun.

Surely this isn't right??? I hope not or i've wasted my time and money and will have to flog it off to someone.

I thought it was just the extra badges n stuff?

Most docos i've seen quote the series 1 and series II engine/ecu types and that's it.

(plus quote the year/month released)

They dont differentiate between series 1 and 1.5, or anything about the 40th aniversary edition.

problem solved, they are the same, no special powerfc needed, just amisunderstanding about models.

No, you misunderstand, I have a '98 Gts2.5t 40th Anniversary model. It is a 40th Anniversary became Nissan was 40 years old, not Skylines. I often quote my car like this because many people think that a '98 model has to be an R34, but mine is the last of the R33's.
