3rd gear prob

hey

i think there is something wrong with my 3rd

when im changing from 3rd to 4th i dont even have to press the clutch in to release 3rd.. even to put it in 3rd gear i dont need to press the clutch

what does this mean?

is my box about to go or is it nothing?

Had a similar problem with my R before I got it. The previous owner put Redline Lightweight Shockproof oil in - not only did it fix the problem but every gear change is now very smooth & silky:)

Costs about $100 but it fixed my problem & beforehand you had to double-de-clutch every time or you couldn't pick 3rd at all.

hmm not happy

not even 2 months ago i had a new clutch put in and the mechanic who installed it charged me $45 extra for changing the gearbox oil. im not even sure what kind of oil he used
