i got a question about the nissan skylines is boost and psi the same thing when talking about turbos? also does anyone know what boost or psi that the standard r 33 skylines came out with.. for example a 96 model.

and also i got a quote for a 96 skyline r 33 gtst for full comp insurance from just car insurance and it was jsut uder 3 grand for a year and i was so shocked does that sound right or was i gettig totially ripped off i dont want just 3rd party becasue if i crash i wont have a car becasue of the repair costs so i want full comp but 3 grand that was to be a rip off im 19 male and never had a crash or speeding fine in my 2 and a bit years of driving

PSI = "Pounds Per Square Inch" Is a unit of measure which is what the boost pressure is measured in,

Stock boost is 5 - 7psi

hey since i am buying my first skyline at the end of the year it will be an r 33 what is the differnce between a v spec and type m?

Vspecs refer to gtr's for the most part there are a few Vspec gtst they have an upgraded diff and maybe some other things, pretty rare

type M is pretty much a series 1.5 gtst

oh h a 1.5 is it i want a series 2 so i shouldnt buy a type m then? is there a big differece between series 1 and 2

If you want a series 2 buy a 1996 model + other wise any year under will be a series 1 or 1.5

The differences between 1 & 2 are the way the coil packs run, the seats are different in the 1995 to compare to the 1996 mdl and a couple other features.
