Power FC - matching Boost Controller?

I'm confused about the Power FC and which Apexi Boost Controller to interface to it.

I read that the PFC will "learn" how shard and when it can boost the engine , but then I hear that all of this has to be configured manually through the controller.

With a couple of different Apexi boost control units available and most of the info in Japanese I'm now totally confused.

Anyone *know* what the configuration and options are? I'm looking at installin the PFC on an R32 GTR but don't want to waste time/money on the upmarket boost controller if it is not required....... is there an Idiot's guide around?

I've put in some strong turbos and want to get more out of them, but not at the expense of damage to engine...

The apexi power FC has its only boost control Kit to adjust the amount of boost you wish to run, but to use this on fc hand commander you need to buy the apexi boost control kit (eg: solonide kit) to be able to contol boost through the hand commander.

Or you can buy the AVC-R which is around $700 - This also uses the same solonide (apexi boost control kit) as the Power FC just the avc-r alows you to use more settings eg: start duty, f/b speed, rpm based boost etc. Just extra little functions that you cannot use on the FC commander.

What Cam said, the Power FC part number you require for an R32 is 414-N011, the applicable Commander part number is 415-X001 and the Boost Controller Kit part number is 415-A001.
