Compliance Begins...

Well Ive dropped my car off at C-Red in Perth to get the car complianced, and, unfortunately I can invision this to be a painstaking experience already. Today I was greated with news that the engineer is not happy with the condition of the door sills and chassis rails and would like them tidied up before he even contemplates signing off on it.

Has anyone ever had their chassis rails 'tidied' up. As far as I was aware they werent stoved in at all, but there was alot of scrapes down them from the car being too low (skateboard grinding over speedhumps rings a bell). The front of the rails were in OK condition from what I can remember. They have said that they have been badly repaired in the past....

Is the poor taxi doomed and destined to be a track car only?

just bang them back into shape if theyre slightly bent with a big hammer and a metal block... then spray em completely in in that black stone guard.... it works miracles.

The engineer didn't say what he expected to be done?

I'd make sure with them what THEY want.. THEY gonna be the ones signin off onit.

he would be reluctant to say becuase he'd wanna charge to do it himself...

obviously if one has ever met Jai he has his own "do it yourself" approach to cars
