After giving my car a good solid 9/10th's weekend at Phillip Island. I have developed a problem I hoped someone could help with. Whenever the car is pushed onto boost above about .7bar the warning light in the dash comes on. I think this light is a general warning lamp. It's the Red Exclimation Mark. (Same one that comes on when hand brake is lifted.)

I Discovered this on the drive home from the Island, but never saw it on the track all day. I get it now everytime I put my foot down.

The light goes off when I drive normally for a bit, or if I turn the car off and start it again.

Does anyone know the conditions that cause the general warning lamp to come on?

My car is pretty stock; Stock ECU, Turbo back exhaust, Cam Gears and Sticky rubber. Running 1Bar of boost.

By the way my max speed for the day was 250km/h and I did a PB of 1.51.55, It was great!

Its usually a sign of low fluid in the reservoir. Probably under acceleration, the fluid is pushed away enough from the sensor to let the sensor detect "low brake fluid".

It probably comes on if you push it through a corner as well.

LOL, rip on your handbrake, if thats the same light that is coming on then its just the warning light that the fluid level is getting low:)

Same thing happened to me coming home from Wakefield one day, only i thought it may have had something to do with my attempt of a handbrake turn onto the straight:)
