Hey I know this is probably a really ooooold question, but has anyone in Perth tried to change their timing belt by themselves? Does anyone know where I can get a CAS 'O' ring and a CAS gasket for a 94 R33 GTST Skyline? Doesn't have to be in Perth. Or does anyone know of somewhere that isn't going to charge me big bucks to get it changed?

"Oh yeah, well if he's so smart, how come he's dead?"

You most certainly can do it yourself, but unless you know what your doing, then it's not worth the risk.

You should be able to get the parts from any of the Nissan outlets, if your a SAUWA member we get trade price at DVG Morley who sell Nissan parts, ring and speak to Scott.

I did mine at home and took around three hours, ended up putting the timing belt on just one tooth out on the exhaust side and the car was running like shit, so just be carful to match up the correct marks.

I also heard that the crank pulleys have to be tightend correctly or it will fall out? True or False anyone know?

Good value, thanks for the help guys! I reckon I'll give it a go it doesn't sound too hard as long as I take my time. MacGuyver can do it!
