so far;

front mount

bosch 910 fuel pump

all the other crap like exhaust, filter

blitz ECU + SAFC

thanks everyone!

Thats excellent news :D

Adjustable cam gears are a bolt on mod. You'll find maybe 15 - 20 hp from tuning cam timing. Nengun has light weight HKS ones for ~$185 each. RB20 can use 2, one for intake and one for exhaust cams. It'll need tuning on the dyno to setup but the s-afc won't need to be retuned.

If you're on a budget, the exhaust adj cam gear alone would provide most of the power increase (probably 3/4 worth).

For R33 RB25 ppl, only the exhaust adj cam gear can be installed cause inlet cam gear is integrated with VCT.

yeh i think ill go down this wednesday (30th) if not then in the near future. with 110rwhp more i think i can better the 14.6 of last time :burnout:

yeh adjustable cam gears i think will be the next.

anyone one which injectors will fit the std fuel rail?

im currently running a bleeder, would an EBC be worthwhile for holding boost above 1bar? (im running a HKS external gate)

wikid!

somehow I reckon you'll deinately be getting a better time than 14.6 hahaha :uh-huh:

what clutch do you have? that'd be a good thing to change, or else timing/cams/nos(:))

and if you're restricted by your management system, why don't you upgrade that?

:D

make sure you're there this wed!! I want some good videos :burnout:

tuning and fitting cost $150, the SAFC cost $150 (the older series one)

power went from 226 to 271 so 45rwhp. off boost its no different raly, the fuel curve is fine but on boost its been leaned out a little so goes alot harder there.

the problem is ive got a blitz ECU, HKS PFC which cannot be unplugged because no-one nows the wiring and its running off a MAP sensor which may screw things up. on top of that ive got an SAFC, so 3 computers:P

Would it cost the same to tune the blue screen model SAFC as the one you've got do you think?

OK so for my R33 you would advise not to get a new cam gear for the inlet. So does this mean i should just by one cam gear for the exhaust? so at $185 each then how much for installation and tuning? this could be one of the cheapest and best mods yet if it gives 15 - 20 rwhp...

is there any set backs with light weight cam gears... pros and cons??

Yeah, 1 cam gear for exhaust. It may be possible to modify the orginal intake gear to make it adjustable but I haven't heard of anyone doing this first hand. I couldn't see install and tuning taking more than an hour on the dyno.

Don't quote me on the HP gain. Basically, go in expecting drivability gains (lower spool up time) and be happy for any HP increase. Your milage may vary :-) Not aware of any cons, pro of lightweight gear is less reciprocating mass on the head -> less engery lost in turning cams.
