Hey buddy, if you read through the posts regarding this thread, look at one of the post made by myself... It gives a link for installation. Im installing mine myself, and for the power, im pretty sure its simple, just run the black negative wire to any metal on the car... With the positive, just connect it to your red wire on the cigarette lighter... Hope that helps...

dont plug it to the cigarette lighter, otherwise it'll light up all the time... you have to hook it up to a power line that goes on when you switch your lights on so it only lights up at night. if u have a boost gauge that lights up at night, use that wire.

Just got back from the post office, All sent! Look out in the mail tomorrow guys

Just letting you guys know there is a 3 month warrantee on the dials, but the warrantee will be void if they are incorrectly installed or damaged. So be careful when you guys are installing them

Thanks guys Daryl

Sorry guys theres no instructions with em, can't help ya out there, I did my dials myself and the ones you posted are pretty accurate and helpful, should be alrite. Again careful with the install, don't damage the dials else the warrrantee will be void

Thanks guys Daryl

Daryl, since you've installed yours already... What did u hook it up to? Do you just just slide these over the factory dials except for the boost gauge? Sorry for the quetions mate, just wana make sure. :P

mine werent exactly r33 dials, I drive a 180sx, so I dind't have a boost gauge dial, I hooked mine up to the cigarette lighter, bcoz at the time I didn' tknow where to hook it up at the back, after looking at that installation guide posted earlier I think I'll fix it up

Heres the one Mr_G posted earlier:

http://www.autoshop.com.au/forumtopic.php?...?id=38&ref=ebay

and the one pushead made:

For anyone that misses out on this group-buy contact me if you want to get one. Also, I can get the white dials for 180SX and a few other models for same price.

Also for melbourne buyers that want installation, I have a friend that will do very cheap.

thanks

Hey Mark, you'd know how to get the dash off pretty easy wouldn't you, having re-sprayed your dash?

You wanna do it sometime during next week after work?

Me too!

are we gonna get together to put these in Shane?

The holes look WAAAAYYYY to small to fit over the ends of the needles?

Are the needles gonna have to come off?

Just got my gauges delivered to me now....

awesome stuff. I had to see what they looked like right away so I just hooked em up to a 12 volt transformer and they look fantastic. And a neat little control pad that lights up to controls the brightness or the differn't shades of green or blue can be adjusted via this. Great group buy Daryl :)

    • I would not be surprised if you are the only person on earth that has the interest/desire to do that lol.  The Haltech base map is a really good starting point, the car will fire easily and drive very well, even on mild boost levels. To me, following your advice sounds like some sort of ancient Chinese water torcher lol (this is not an insult Josh, never change <3)
    • Those car show concepts from the 2000's and 2010's like the Floria and IDx were brilliant and should've gone ahead, at least one of them. But neither Honda nor Nissan are thinking about affordable performance any more, which is truly sad.  Even if Toyota's liquid hydrogen ICE development reaches the point where it's commercially viable and the infrastructure to support it, Honda/Nissan would have to wait until Toyota allow fee access to their patents to offer it with any smaller performance models they released to take advantage of it.
    • A sporty manual RWD coupe with a IL4 Honda engine would only be a good thing I assume we won't see anything released for a few years though, unless informal talks and designs have been going on for a few years,  and due to the current, and future, emmisions and safety requirements, I assume anything "sporty" they would do would be at least some hybrid thingie And hopefully anything they are thinking of has nice lines, without lots of plastic and fake bits hanging off it like that horrendous FK8 that looked like it was designed by a 13 year old The other issue of course in the current market is cost, currently the type R is around $70k, a twin is around $50k Meh, I'm old and grumpy and would rather buy a older model car and waste my coin on that than buying anything currently available new
