what are the last 2 pics of?

is that wen the light is off?

That was when the dials were down at their lowest brightness... just a bad shot with the camera, trying to show that the needles are now lit.... because of me putting the bulbs back in.

Proof that the bulbs dont wreak the el look from underneath

You can actually disconnect the colour change pad... So I use it almost like a remote control... if I ever want to change colour or dim I just plug it in and change it.

As for the large dials, its a bit of an effort but the only way I could get it on was all at once... be very careful not to bend the tiny needle rest spokes poking out.

okay guys ive never really done much work on the line by myself so i was wondering if there is anything else i need to put these in, or can i just take out the dash and install put them in, how simple is it? or should i pay someone to do it for me?

also when you say run red wire to red/blue wire on cig lighter what exactly do you mean by run them, like crimp them together or what do it do? as i said havent done any electrical stuff before so im learning.

At the back of your cig lighter there should be 2 plugs. 1 plug is the big one with 2 wires going to it... leave that one. Cut the other wire (the smaller plug) which is the light and connect the red wire to that and the black wire to any metal on the car. Thats how i got mine working.

Cool, so im gathering once you unplug it, it will still run, but in the memory of color selected, ie if you selected green to be your colour, and you unplug it, it will still stay on green till you plug it back up and change...

Abit off topic but did you fit your grille up yet? Hope it looks good... Cheers

Yeah thats right it has a memory somewhere, it remembers the last setting it had before it was switched off. Does everyone else's gauge's do like a little flicker when they power up?

And yes I did fit the grill looks great, much better since my original grill was stolen! :zap:
