engine crane buy / hire in Goldcoast ?

Hi,

Does anybody know a place where you can hire (preferably), or maybe even buy an engine crane? I think you can get cheapies for around $500.

Preferably Goldcoast, but also maybe Brisbane if there is nothing down here.

Anybody know?

I have a block and tackle(endless chain) that i use to lift engines from a rafter in my shed....your welcome to come around to do an engine swap if you like.

not for an engine swap atm.. i just need to get a block from my old place to my new place. Thats what we used last time, but new place don't have rafters in the garage to lift it back out again

i'll keep that in mind though for the future though

if you need just to pick it up and drop it off...two ppl can lift an engine...im avail this arvo if necessary

Glenfords has engine cranes on special for about $300 at the moment. Not sure how good they are but i'm considering it...

Del Sol: thanx for the pointer.. found the catalog online. Don't look too bad. $300 could be a goer - It will pay for itself in time. I'm going to speak to the nerang store and see if they have any in stock.

Projects are on hold for a little whilst life gets in the way have to buy my life back which i sold back in melb..
