good job mate but as it is does the pod shield enclose with the bonnet? Also did u scratch ur car much in the making of it?

I am currently making a heat sheild for my r33 gtst out of fibreglass which will seal better on the bottom as it moulds directly to the shape of the car. I am also having a lid which will utilise the standard snorkel. It is heaps more expensive than urs and way more labour intensive but i am just doing it for the wank factor i suppose but it will rock when finished, i don't really like the idea of using aluminium either as its thermal conductivity is pretty damn high. I am debating whether or not to make it fully enclosed or leave it open on the fender side (won't really get hot there) and also the front as there are a few holes where cold air can come from the front. N e ideas?
