hey all,

i was browsing on prestige before looking at the '89 r32 gtst's when i noticed that some of them (being the silver ones) had the normal breaklights but the actual panel that holds the breaklights is black AND, on the back of the boot it has a small badge that says 'skyline' as opposed to the ones that i normally see with the large indented 'skyline'. Still looking at the gtst's i noticed that the other coloured 32's where 'normal' (same colour breaklight panels as the car and indented skyline on the back of the boot). To try and work out if this difference only appeared on the silver skylines, I looked at a silver GTS which was 'normal'.

It seems weird that nissan would only produce differnt breaklight panels for the gtst in one color. can anybody clear this up for me??

thanks. :P

unless you buy a 2 coupe tail light conversion kit which costs about 200 bucks for the rear bumper, $200 for the tail lights and $100 for the coupe bootlid. Plus paint plus shipping :P

4 Doors have...

Raised Skyline badge glued onto the rear bumper

Full glass tail lights that include the reversing lights

Bootlid that has a square corner

Rear bumper that only holds the number plate

2 Doors have...

Engraved style Skyline badge on rear bumper

Plastic tail lights that is only Brake and Indicator (regular skyline style stoveplates)

Bootlid that has a rounded corner

Rear bumper that holds the number plate and 2 reversing lights if you cars from a normal region and 1 reversing light and a 1 red fog light if the car's from a cold region.

thanks guys, so basically the 2 door is a little more upmarket?... are they the only differences between the two?

And does that go throughout all the 32's from 89 onwards?

wouldnt really call cosmetical differences upmarket. the coupes just have a more sportier look.
