Has anyone imported from NZ? If so which shipping company did you use and how much did it cost? I rang one place and they said $2600NZ !!!!

Hehe, I've organised a few personal imports from NZ, problem with using someone like Kiwi is that they charge around the same for JP-AU as they do NZ-AU... you're better off flying over there, getting the car then putting the car and yourself on a passenger ship bound for AU.

At the end of the day it costs the same to bring in a car from NZ as it does from JP. Hence why its not common practice.
