Climate Control

My climate contol is only cold on 18 and 19 is hot.

on 18 the conroler arm is closed but not right closed on 19 it is fully open and if you go 20 or 25 or high it doesn't change.

How do i fix this problem ?

Mine is the same too.. I looked up "diagnosic aircon" in the search area and found this:

not sure if there is some sort of reset for it.. thinking i'll be checking the sensors..

Sumo, they disconnected your internal sensor when doing your HU install and did not reconnect it. Easy fix.

the climate control has a self test mode. Use this to check it.

Mine all fixed now..prolly was the internal sensor coz came good when dash was out 4 painting & when put back in was fine..worth a try @ doing this also

Mine has done this sincew i removed the sensor behind the wheel to prep the dash...

seems pretty certain that this will be the cause!

My car does this too! I usually have it set to 18 which is cold but if I change it to 19 or higher it immediately starts blowing warm air through.

Mine is even more of a dud then those, I have to set mine to FC "Fast Cool" or whatever it means to have my aircon blow cold air. At all other times it blows not warm air, but hot air, even with just the fan on.

I'll get around to trying to fix it one day.
