Just thought i'd butt in, i'm in Sandringham just near the old Red Bluff Hotel, and i'm always up for a bayside cruz... Wine red R32 with drift style 3" exhaust. Travel down beach road nearly every night coz of work being in Port Melbourne.

hey hey!! you're the first other Sandy person i've seen post here :D

oh yeah, i know where that is. Great spot. I'm in Nelson st. I can't believe i have never seen you? Only 32's i've seen are a silver one, JLL11 (something like that) plates, he use to be on here. And a gun metal or black 32 GTR that use to be in Hampton street a lot but not anymore.

I work in South Melbourne (above the BMW car yard, Neiderlasung) but only drive down/up beach road on a Sunday. Like 3:00pm and then back again at 12:00am (midnight) - So i prob miss ya.

Oh well, when i get my car, we'll definitely organise something for the all the bayside peeps, i've never really seen anyone else post here from down our way so it's good to know there are some Sky's around :P Looks like you might be Skyline-less soo tho?

Yeah, only moved here in March this year, but used to be near the Dan Murphy's on Nepean Highway, so i've been close all my "skyline" life of just over a year. But you're right about being skyline-less soon, going over to London in January, so the car must go. The extra money won't exactly hurt while i'm over there either!

So the sooner we organise a big bayside event, the better. Coz i work at "Auscarts" in Port Melbourne, so maybe a cruz along beach rd, then up to Port Melbourne for a bit of go-karting..... Just an idea anyway.

Matt.

    • God I love shiny engine parts 🥰 Are you looking for more horsetorques in the mid range? (Smaller cam) Or just more horsetorques every where? (Big heads and bigger revs) Assumption: they were not bought late night shopping on the interwebs after drinking too many beers, which is typically how I pull pins on things......🤣 The evolution of your car is coming along nicely, I sometimes wish I didn't get bored with my cars and keep flipping them, maybe the MX5 will be different
    • I got the hazards working! Turned out it was disconnected! Indicator stock still isn’t working. I took the steering shroud off and there seems to be a third connection missing I see two small white connectors but they don’t fit the indicator switch unless they need a short lead to convert the connector type. Can someone point me in the direction of the wiring diagram for the indicator switch?   https://share.icloud.com/photos/0e8ReiFSLBVJsTPUKKfA_1IdQ
    • All of your suspension bushes/bolts etc, should also only ever be tightened when the car is sitting with full weight too.   IE, jack it back up, shove a heap of stuff down so you can lower the wheels onto so the car is "on the ground" but you have room to get under it.   It's why when properly done, you should be able to remove the shock and spring, but the arms won't go to 100% droop. If you don't do the above, you'll destroy your bushes.
