Hey ppls.

Well, the time is nearing, I will be having my PowerFC and Boost control kit fitted soon.

Should I change my Wastegate actuator to an RB20 one before (or during) the boost controller fitment?

Will the PowerFC boost controller handle 10-12 psi of boost accurately with the standard wastegate?

BASS OUT

The std RB20t actuator holds 10.9psi with a full exhaust. On mine anyhow.

To get that little bit more boost I elongated the actuator bolt up holes so I could put some pretension on the actuator. This allows my to hold up to around 16psi.

I've had a Blitz SBC-ID and found the boost was wavering slightly at 14+psi.

Putting pretension on the wastegate holds boost smooth and it feels much better.

Not that you would have to worry about that as you are only looking for 10-12psi.

Yes, very worthwhile

Yes, not a problem.
