There will be a few Drift Day tickets given away too, so come along and you might be lucky.

About 140 cars, and about the same number of defects unfortunately.

Spent 2.5 hours blocked in at the first meeting point.

Gday Folks, I attended the cruise and i can only say one thing, what an utter waste of police resources.... sending 5 cars and 6 officers out to Newton to try and defect as many cars as possible (yes they did say that ), for over 2 hours. I for one am shocked and amazed at the actions of these officers, and would encourage anyone who came on the cruise to complain in all appropriate channels:

Yeah, its no good..... Lucky i wasn't driving... was with a mate in an r31 and another in a soarer, they didn't get done, but i saw numerous imports receive a defect and overheard one officer accuse the owner of a (from what i could see) stock r33 gtr of doing 'burnouts'.... even after he explained that it would be hard to do in a 4wd car

ridiculous, simply ridiculous and completely unjustified is all i can say... i really do hope a lot of people put in some complaints...
