Empty Space

Hey gang! I just bought a new CD unit for my 'line and was just wondering what some of you guys have done in regards to the extra space left over after the removal of the factory CD player and cassette deck? i.e. once I've installed the new source unit and removed the factory CD player + radio what should I do about the extra space? I was thinking of maybe putting in an extra compartment or something? A mate of mine suggested I put in a face plate to cover the hole up but I reckon I could do something better. What have you guys done?

put a plate and on it an RSM or some Defi gauges for extra bling

Just went to car stereo city and bought a centre console 'pocket' for it.

But yeh if you have or planning to get a RSM or safcii etc, do what Bam sugested above.

nissan sell a "pulsar" pocket for it which also has a lid that flips down, they're around $60 or $70, or you could do the safc

I had a blank plate with my SAFCII mounted on it, but then I bought a bling-bling deck that's got a motorized flip, and they'd clash Now I've got an ugly plate
