so my car has an alarm with remote locking however, the drivers side is spoilt and needs to be opened using a key.. i took off the door trim and this little white box (dunno whut its called) which controls the locking / unlocking is ***ed... whut do i do and can i get parts from another car (S13/R32) to fix.. cheers

I think that's the central locking motor man, you can get them from anyone who can install a central locking kit... i had to put one into the drivers door of my gts-t to have central locking with the security system 'cause they don't come with one...

my central locking hasnt worked since we cleaned up a whole heap of messy wiring under my dash.. kind of miss it lol mite get it fixed at some stage

My expreience with the ceffy is that the drivers side doesn't have a motor just a solenoid to open the other three doors. A master motor is needed to be put in to control the other doors and to unlock the drivers door with an alarm

well thats what I had to do.

Yea apparently a few of the skylines a have they same thing as well. it can get annoying, when I get over 15km the doors lock
