The 360 is a lot better than 355 cause the technology they used.

the 360 has a lot of F1 design in it, which cost shitload on R&D.

While 355 is just a super car they design for street driven, no F1 technology been used at all.

Ferrari do spend a lot of money they make on their F1 racing.

so buying a ferrari is kind of supporting F1 motorsport.

At the end u pay what u get, but they are not money for value due to the low amount of sales. But who cares if u have money to spend and want to be different?

Your my HERO...  :inlove:

Big freakin deal. The Modena probably wasnt even running you.

Most probably just messin around with you so you 'think' yours is fast. If i had a modena, i wouldnt even bother with a skyline. Different league. Kinda like when i let a Mira turbo think i had my foot down on Anzac..... "oh my god.. imy car is faster man.." ppffftttttttttttttttttt...............

im really happy for you man I hope you feel really good, I know i was There and Yes He was trying to drag me.so keep your opinions to ur self, maybe you want a drag too! or i will embarress you . Oh by the way I dont "THINK" I KNOW ya NUMBNUT.

I've just had a dyno done for 230 rwkw shootout mode.  I'm wondering what 0-100 time it might do 'have locked dif & 10" rear tyres'.  I would have thought 5's.  3.8 for 280 rwkw sounds mighty quick!

Remember gentlemen the gtech is about 1/2 a second under/over and i pulled the rear seats and all the heavies off my car to get that figure.i dont care what you guys reckon I knoww what my line can do, how about yours?? Oh and by the way If your car did those times your attitudewould be the same.

Hmm.... if i drag you,.... will you promise to put it up on this forums too? Promise??? After all, even if i lose, atleast i got beaten by a Ferrari 360 Modena Annihilating Skyline with Jun side skirts and C-West wing right?

ahhh, i believe this thread is about R34 prices not for phatgtst to get on his high horse, and "drop names" so to speak. Dude, you've magically picked up another 100rwkw's as well

anyways :D

R34's in Japan are quite expensive at the moment, so probably not the best idea to import at the moment. Locally? Would do really well to get a *decent* car for low $30's, say, $32k? But most 34's are actually in pretty good nick, and generally well looked after, so i reckon if you're will to spend $35K you'll find yourself a very nice R34 with maybe a few extras.

R34 = R34 GT-T Manual, Coupe.

Look ALL you keyboard warriors - come out to a Wednesday night street meet (in 3 weeks) or the Saturday night meet in a couple of weeks and do some runs at AIR. There, the numbers talk and bullshit walks :D .... I have only seen 2 other member from here out there - MattR and MattH (Whatsisname) - if any of you guys think you have fast cars, cough up the whole $36 entry fee (for a Wednesday night) or $50 (Sunday arvo/Saturday night) and come race with the real men :P .... there are no excuses then!

    • Honda's hybrid system can be easily scaled up to PHEVs. Series hybrid at low speeds, at higher speeds the engine directly drives the wheels but there can still be some power bled off to charge the battery + the electric motor can still provide parallel assistance too. It's really only a question of will at that point. Toyota's PHEVs are selling incredibly well at the moment because of the flexibility. You can run on EV mode when it makes sense, but if you're planning on doing a long highway drive you can still fire up the gas engine and not have to worry about dealing with the rather miserable state of public charging infrastructure.
    • Only reason to keep a MAF on your RB25 is to be able to easily calculate true VE if you know what the factory voltage curve represents in grams per second of flow. Also allows you to do things like pull the original OEM ignition + AFR target tables and use those as a starting point for your base map. Once you're well and truly done tuning though there's no need to retain the MAF.
    • Do you think they'll merge there performance divisions and we'll end up HoMo?
    • Very true, if buying new, I would not get an PP either. Minimum is an Elite 2500, which is also considered outdated. Get something that supports DBW, delete that cable throttle. Best thing I've ever done to the Skyline, next best is refreshing the A/C with a new condenser. It's cold, but not as cold as modern car, but colder than most 90s JDM shit boxes imported into Australia.
    • Haltech have a nice comparison table between the Elite and Nexus models -  https://www.haltech.com/ecu-buyers-guide/ In general, the Nexus is better. Haltech have some nice product videos on their YouTube page, I'd have a look at those and if you're still not confident what way to go, I'd give them a call. They have the best customer support of any company I've dealt with, I'm sure they'll be able to help you out.
