hey y'all,

was out last night givin my 'line the beatin of its life.

the engine was so close to being ***d im not surprised it

blew in spectacular fashion. F****en fan snapped off at the water pump

and came off all together smashing alotta parts in there.

Just wanna know wat a good price would be to pay for a rb25de

with less then 50000km. is there anyway to make sure they are real km??

im in perth so if anyone knows of any places, it would be appreciated.

Contact HKS34R, he's got a late model RB25DE NEO with about 18,000kms on it....he wants ~$1000 for it, complete with ECU and harness. This is a complete bargain for this engine.

wats a NEO??? never heard of it b4.

The NEO is what is found in the R34 skylines...it's the newer version of the RB25 found in the R33...makes slightly more power...and the fact that they are made from late 1998-2001 mean they are more likely to be in better condition.

cool, will it just bolt str8 in or am i lookin at engine bay modifictations?

It will bolt straight in....the ECU harness is different...but you may be able to use the existing ECU to run it.

hrmmmm, after much thought, im glad to say im gonna go the turbo conversion my friends. it seems like its gonna b alotta stress, but i was gonna go boost eventualli. will most probably do its with hyperdrive as they have never made fun of me whenever i go into there workshop in my NA. anyone haf any experience with then?? will keep u all posted on how the work goes.

btw, do u rekon the non-turbo box will hold, and keep the front cut box in storage, or should i pull it out str8 away and try and score some money for it???

I just got told RB20DE and RB20DET gearboxes were the same. Correct me if I'm wrong...

hahahha, thats wat my wreckers said. he goes: fark mate. even for a non-turbo he expected it to last. now he doesnt wanna gimme a warranty should i choose to buy a engine from him. lol.

i've seen water pumps break before, and the fan come off... why cant you just put a new water pump and fan on? surely the fan coming off didnt mean that the engine itself is damaged.

fan comes off, timing belt comes off.. valves get out of whack with pistons.. SMACK
