NISSAN SKYLINE GTS-t Series 2 Turbo. NEW IMPORT - $19900. Silver 5 sp manual. Quick, stylish car to suit speed enthusiast, great example and well cared for, only 71000 kms.

This car has only been imported in the last 2 months, and has only driven 100kms while in Australia! It was traded in in Japan at a Nissan Dealership, has been imported through the strict new RAWS import system, and has been well looked after. Both interior and exterior are in very good condition. I am only selling this car at the last minute to raise capital for a workshop.

Straight-through barrel-type exhaust, 17" aftermarket wheels, 255/45 tyres on rear, 235/45 on front. GTR-style rear wing. Otherwise standard and well cared-for. This car would be a good substitute for a girlfriend! (and less expensive!!) Very regretful sale due to business commitments. Asking $19900 only to recover expenses.

Please be quick as I am quietly confident that the first person to see and drive my baby will buy it, and I'm sure everyone would agree this is ridiculously cheap!

I live in Albany Creek, North Brisbane, so if you are interested please phone Steve now on (0403) 183754 or (07) 33252283 or email at [email protected].

Thanks for your time! :)

Hey mate,

Sorry don't know what ur referring to! It has the standard air intake if that is what ur asking, all standard except for wheels and exhaust. I noticed you have a link to carmen imports there as well, it was imported and complied through them as well.

Cheers!

Hi wolvesteve,

I bought my R33 gtst series 2 95 mdl' for $23,000 from a car dealer here in cairns 3 years ago and it had pod, bov, exhaust, fully adjustable suspension strut braces, 3 piece jap rims and genuine 43,000 klms. This car sat in the car yard for 1 1/2 because i snaped it up.

But the import scene is getting bigger & bigger so you could give it a try, Because theirs lots of people look for skylines at the moment.

:D

Hi N,

Is there a local classified in cairns for selling cars? Like an automotive classifieds?

I might look at advertising in it and offering to deduct the cost of the airfare off the price of the car if someone from up there was keen on buying my car.

Cheers mate,

Steve

Yep for sure mate,

Theirs the Cairns Car's Guide that comes in the weekend post(Sat & Sunday's). Other wise during the week theirs the normal classified's.

You have to ring up and give them details on what your selling etc and pay by credit card. If your going to put it in, put it under "Nissan Skyline" not Skyline ;)

Give it a try and see how you go & Good luck with the sale

:)

  • 2 months later...

Yea I just ment that I had seen it before by posting that link - nothing more.

Thats more than a reasonable price Steve, for what appears to be a quality import.

If only it was a 4 door i might be interested. Good luck with sale.

    • HKS trigger kit should be very easy to integrate with a Link. It's a 36-2 crank trigger. Hard part is finding the motivation to take off the timing belt and everything on the front of the engine to install it. You also need to cut out a hole in the oil pump housing so the sensor can read the trigger wheel. Changing out the cam sensor for a 24 tooth setup is probably good enough but as others have mentioned depending on what underlying assumptions are changed it becomes more of a problem. Reading the crank state off of the cam is an abstraction that works in the general case, but if you have an edge case it makes less and less sense. There is a GTX2860 gen 2 that can take a compact 5 bolt housing so it's direct bolt on but I'm not 100% sure of what's involved. Peak compressor efficiency drops off a bit on these turbos vs -5s, 77% vs 73% but you get way, way wider region of operation. The -5s have a really strange surge line in their compressor map that is all over the place. If you think the hot side on the -5s aren't open enough you can try the Tomei T550B turbos which a local tuner seems to be happy with:
