turn a GT-T front into a GTR??

hey guys,

just wondering whether this can be done or not.....

would u have to buy a new bonnet? could u cut the existing one?? obvious need new front bar, but is the grille on the GTR all connected to the front bar?? cos it looks like it is all joined together....

any thoughts or actually experiences of this happening would be very much appreciated..

and if it hasn't been done before, can it be done??

i'd guess the bonnet and the front bar would be changed only i think...

just by looking at the photo, it appears like you'll have to change the following:

headlights

front bar

bonnet

guards if you want to get the fat look

i have the mould for the bonnet...i could make you a fibreglass one instead of carbon to make it cheaper....i have thought about moulding the guards.....i will mould them if you are serious.All thats left is the front bar....hmm i guess i could mould it and pop one out 4 you...pm me if you interested

Yeah...thought u might need a new bonnet, fibreglass wouldn't bother me at all....altho i'd have to get it sprayed....

headlights??? u sure? i know the photos are taken at different angles, but i would have though the headlights would be the same.

ylwgtr how do u make the moulds?? i guess if there a no places selling after market kits, then i'd guess u'd have to help me out. How much do u think it will cost all up to make a bonnet and front bar, and spray it as well?? wouldn't happen to be in melb by any chance?

oh so you dont have a car????Next november...sheesh...i couldve been hit by a bus by then!!!....the headlights are the same...i got a few sets anyway.....and the bar will not fit if you dont change the guards coz the gtr is wider....i am in melbourne
