R33 gtst series 1 turbo

Hi guys/gals

Does anyone have a standard turbo that I could have a look at, measure up etc. I have an option of buying a different turbo and want to check how different the connections etc are.

I know of someone who is willing to fabricate anything needed to get it to fit, but I want to know how different they are.

The turbo that I am considering is one from a RS Turbo that has been recently rebuilt. It is physically larger and can hold higher boost. On the RS it is a bit laggy, but as it is only a 2ltr, but I hope it will be better on the larger engine.

If you have any thoughts, I would love to hear them.

BUT

If you have a standard turbo lying around your garage floor can I have a look at it.

I've got my old one lying around too if you don't have any luck elsewhere. It's out here at Ipswich though.
