The smell is on the outside of the car and comming from the front. Is this normal or do i really need to get this checked out? jaymanR33
I had a fuel smell recently, I thought it came from the front as well. when you start your car look in your drivers side view mirror and see if you can see fuel fumes coming from the petrol filler door. if you can you need to pull out the little flapper plate and reseal it with a petrol tank repair putty. It's easy to do just make sure you disconnect the tank pipe under your guard and you can remove the whole filler insert. and go from there. if you have any other questions let me know. jaymanR33
have a look under your bonnet as soon as you start your engine, see if there is any little bits of fuel dribbling out of the fuel hoses that run to your fuel injector rail, I had this happen to me when i first bought my skyline.
