I'll see if I can make it. Have to get a leave pass though.

I will be able to show you the demo version of the Xnavia language conversion to english.

Keen as to see the demo.....any good???

How much and when can I have it? I'm over looking at Jap symbols...lol

They are talking about $100 US for the full conversion when ready. So that is about 120-125 Aust. I only have the demo versions which is only a few screens converted.

Yes, boys told me yesterday that it might be him or his son. Considering the fact that now I go to Kal fairly often, I might PM him and we might catch up one day :(

BTW, timing belt party is a good fun :D

Hai 5*

damn straight it was. Spotted Andrei's red beast yesterday, (LOL) and chuckies yellow peril, and mitchy's legnum.

Gotta say it in public too Andrei, VERY nice car. Just a little bit different in every way to every stagea I have seen so far.

Spotted/spotted by:

Episode 1: Satuday morning, Silver S1 In Bathurst complete with kit and lowered. Pulled up next to it at intersection of Church St and George St, was in my Silver S1, stopped, waved, got a look back which said "hey just 'Cause you drive some Freaky lookin' Volvo don't think you can wave at me" (Last time I saw a Silver S1 was not this car but got the same reaction)

Episode 2: Saturday Morning (1/2hr later), Silver S2 driving into Bathurst, I was pulling out of a car park, I waved, Got a look which said "hey just 'Cause you drive some freaky lookin' Volvo don't think you can wave at me"

I am beginning to seriously wonder whether my car is a Stagea, or in fact a Volvo! Or maybe a Liberty Wagon. I parked it next to the S1 in the first Episode a few days before, 1 inch lower, silver bump strips, eye lids, spoiler, skirts but other than that it looks the same to me... So here is a photo, my (Alleged) Stagea is on the left, is it real?

That's my car! I don't recall having another stagea parked next to me at maccas....

I did see you the other day, my look was "Wholly crap another Stagea in town?" I would have waved but i had one hand on the gearstick and one on the steering wheel. Also I was trying to drive carefully as I had my 8 month old son asleep in the back.

Oh, and your car looks similar to mine on the outside, but I think I have a few surprises on the inside :D

Just quietly, you don't work at Toyota do you?

did work at Toyota.... Thought it might have also been a bit of shock.. Yeah, gearstick... mmm. Still unsure if I am buying the Stagea back (sold it to my mother when I bought my house, she bought a V6 Rav and I was going to buy the Stagea, lost my job at Toyota) So long story Short I have too many cars in too many peices to even think about asking permission to play gearbox games with Stagea.. So for now it is auto.

OK, who's up for a NSW Stagea raid on the Central Coast tomorrow night?

Meet at the Berowra Truck Stop on the Pacific Highway @ 7.30pm for an 8.00pm departure. Cruise up via either the Old Pacific Highway or the F3 freeway (I usually just go freeway).

Sit back and relax with the Central Coast crew, chat, share info and stories, etc.

M35's, C34's, whatever - come one, come all!!! (I want to see an M35 in the flesh)

Now it sounds gay!!! "Stagea Valentines Day cruise"....lol.

P.S. That's why the wife was looking at me weird when I told her I was going out thursday night...lol....would not have scored anyway....rofl.

    • Don't do it if your gearbox box has already having syncro issues. The short hifter will put a greater load on them. If you must I remember Nismo did a shorter shifter, with the top part being physically shorter and the part that went into the gearbox was the same as stock. In saying that I've had a C's short shifter (I think) in mine for many years, which was given to me as the previous owner was not sympathetic to the gearbox. Thus forwarned I was careful and had to modify my normal changing style. You have to be super accurate with your clutch and shifts
    • Well, after a week of daily driving and having to crawl out between the wheel and the side intrusion bars. I got myself a quick release setup. I went with an NRG short hub and Quick Release with some cute heart cutouts on the pull tabs. Nice and matchy matchy with the rest of the interior accents I have going on.  The only downside is the total stack height even with the short adapter is longer than the old HKB boss kit. Luckily I had some adjustment left on the column so move the wheel away.
    • stock shifter with new bushes, springs and cup will improve it. Gktech do all the bits. The opinion as the years have gone on is the redline is not great in old gearboxes.
    • Hi all   what short shifter do you use on your skykine r34?   my synchronous does have a problem and i was getting huge delay and grinding sound between 2nd and 3rd, did put shockproof red heavy stuff and it is great now/ no issues   would in your view short shifter screw this up?   people seems to suggest/ use cube short shifter and there is standard and premium. Seen review of premium as much better and less play. Thoughts?
    • Yeah, there's a bit of a density and friability difference between pebbles and any of those other things. Silicone will definitely float in oil and so will be mobile enough to move around. Although, again, if it is upstream of the filter it really shouldn't go any further. I would only ever worry about silicone when it is in places downstream of the filter. Upstream of the pickup is a whole 'nother matter. We've all seen what that does. I have seen the most abominable crap settled out in industrial gearboxes, trunnion lube systems and the like, without any sign that any of it has touched anything in the machine. Just chilling in the bottom, waiting for the inevitable operator error that causes the whole machine to need to be dismantled for repairs.
