Just spotted a silver s1 in Winston Hills, near the corner of Langdon Road and Caroline Chisholm Drive. Had "for sale" details all over it...

I spotted this same s1 again today, again in Winston Hills, but near the primary school, so maybe he was picking up the kids - was just before 3pm.

Also spotted a white s2 parked downstairs in the Winston Hills shopping centre, I think it *might* be the same one I've seen parked at the Seven Hills shopping centre, had COP-003 rego plates. I left an SAU-NSW business card on the car.

Spotted RBPOWA at RE Customs as usual  I think Ray is gonna have to start charging you parking fees :(

if he did , i would be on his back every hour to get it done ! so i dont get a crazy parking bill.

got it back last night at 7pm. might take it back next yr give it a break this year :)

Haha i gotta go back in a week to pick up a few things then i might start saving for an after market ecu, turbo and injectors then go back to get the ecu installed and tuned.

Spotted a pearl white series 2 dayz yesterday arvo on southern cross drive, rego was MAT 878 or something, looked stock apart from lowering, unfortunently

i wasnt in my stagea, i was in my brothers girlfriends mirage....

Spotted another pearl white dayz doing a u-turn on carlton st kensington, very sexy example had intercooler, exhaust, nice rims etc...chick driven.

I was in my dads blue maxima.......dammit everytime a see a stag my one is at home.....bugger

rego was CC. XXXX, butifull stag

spotted on Saturday at around 1.00-1.30 pm: blue M35 heading toward Frenchs Forest on Forest Way (?). I was in Sydney for the weekend... It was good to finally see a M35 on the road: it was the first I've spotted actually moving...

Would have waved, but we were in a '83 Jeep, so didn't bother.

Spotted a silver s1 at around 5pm today at the roundabout where Toongabbie Road and Portia Road in Girraween. I wonder if it's the same one I've seen twice in the past week at Winston Hill.

I beeped and waved, and got a wave in return.

Spotted again: stock grey S1 on Somerset Drive, heading towards Robina Town centre at around 12.45am today. Car had big shiny rims, no rear spoiler, and the stock front bar: young(ish) looking guy was driving. Car was quite neat. Would have waved, but I was on foot...

    • You shouldn't need to massively fatten up the mixtures for cold conditions. For one thing - 0°C is not that cold. For another, the Haltech will be using the IAT sensor to tell it how dense the air air, and calculate the correct amount of fuelling. Then the cold start enrichment is added as a % on top of that, so it should scale with the main fuelling. You might also doubt the IAT sensor at this time. You're not using one from an RB26 are you? Using a nice Bosch sensor or similar? Happens. Some wideband units take great pleasure in killing their sensors. Put another wideband in the tailpipe and compare. Or just swap the sensor to a brand new one and see.
    • Oh, my misunderstand. When the car was running, it sounded ok, but if I gave it any gas it wanted to die but caught itself afterwards. It's very different from how it was a couple months ago when it was warmer outside. The logs show that the AFRs are better during, what I assume, is warmup enrichment. Because it's cold, and air is more dense, should I work on the enrichment bit?
    • yess of course im not using 2nd hand parts from my spare engine, but the place where i live is hard to find parts for the RB20DET ,but for the RB20E is everywhere including new ones and a lot cheaper ,because for the RB20DET you have to order it overseas to get one and it cost a lot of money 3x the price to be exact. so i ask this topic because if i can use the new ones but for RB20E is it compatible or not. if not im screwed haha, not totally screwed but i have to save a lot of money first before i can begin repairing my engine, thanks for the information before.
    • Unless my sensor just died, was only a couple months old, I strongly believe it didn't. How can I test it? I never mentioned it being 20:1+?
    • Well, you wouldn't use 2nd hand bearings out of another engine anyway....so just buying the proper bearings is obviously what you're going to do. The crankshaft would be common. The conrods might be common. There is essentially nothing else you would be able to use.
