blown turbo + smoke

Hi i blew my turbo last week and im currently waiting for a new one to be mahcined and so on

just wondering is there a quick fix to stop the white smoke coming out of it ? just so i can drive it to get fix which is just over a hour away?

i dont believe there is a quick fix to stop the smoking besides replacing it. So i think ur gonna have to put up with the smoke and take ur chances out on the road without being pulled over for a smokey n defective vehicle. good luck

only thing i could think of was disconnecting the oil lines from the turbo

it will most probly seeze but its stuffed ne way

and air should still get past the turbo if it seeze's

Why risk any further damage? Why not just get a tow... I can give you the number of one even

because i can only just afford the new turbo

and if turbo already stuffed whats the diff if it stuffed ne more?

bearings siezed may send metal filings through the oil lines in sump etc. Not good for bearings/cylinder wall lube so definately wouldnt recommend that option
