Abandoned White R33 on Eastern Freeway

On the way back from a mate's house last night at about 11:30pm I noticed a White R33 parked on the inside emergency lane of the Eastern, between the Doncaster and Buleen Exit.

I assumed it was broken down or something, but couldn't see the driver, so kept driving on.

On the way to work today (12 noon) I happened to see the same car, still there, the driver side window down (so it didn't look like someone just parked it cos it broke down).

My guesses are its stolen and abandoned, so if anyone's missing a white Series 1 R33 GTSt that's where it is.

most likely abandoned after a joy ride or similar. Someone should call it in if they see it again

yeah a quick phone call to the cops should handle it and hopefully get it back to the owner.

Good to hear it wasn't stripped and burned at least.

The owner is very lucky if it was just a joyride that ended in being abandoned.

I seen it at about 1 today with 1 spacesaver on and a smashed drivers side window. Looked sad.

maybe the car broke down and a passing by car through a rock through the window or sumthing.... Whos knows... It has happened on the monash freeway a few times... You know its quite funny, I have never seen a broken down Skyline on the side of the road. Just goes to show you how good these cars are.... I would hate to think the car has been stolen though!

are you guys sure it didnt have a space saver on before?? that doesnt seem to make any sense unless the owner came back and put the space saver on.

Yeah i saw it definitely on the Thursday evening with a space saver on the rear left that was blown.

Apparently my brother saw the same guy hooning along a few days before with the space saver on doing 100+ with it.
