Well...

I'd say another successful day with the SAU-Vic Gang.

(cheers to Snowman for organising this one)

Few minor issues with the maps... one was actually due to the Melways being incorrect. But i doubt anyone is going to ring em up and tell them that

Thanks to all that came, another wicked turnout with some excellent numbers.

And some crazy cars as always!

Hope everyone enjoyed their day... another cruise will be out shortly.

Possibly Mid Nov as im going holidaying for a month near the end of Nov and im organising the next one

Might be a hybrid with an old route or something. But it'll be good thats for sure :P

Thanks to the guys who i whored with throughout the day. Great fun and good club spirit thats for sure!

Cheers - ash

Yep, big thankyou to all of those that organised the event. I had a fantastic day, really loved the rafton section going up to marysville. Like always its never a cruise untill you get lost at some point. bloody beenek road, couldnt find it to save myself, nor could any one in the pack that i was in. Anyway, looking foward to the next one. Cheers.

:P Yeah, thanx Ash, Andrew and all the others! Really good day! Great to see so many nice lines! Can't wait for the next, will be even better. As Berin said - us SAU guys are now the 'Kings of U turns" hahaha 2 Macclefield Roads WTF. Anyway, once again - GREAT! :D

Thanks once again for a great day guys, I thoroughly enjoyed myself yet again.

Had an absolute ball sitting behind Adz in the stretch before Marysville and even smiled for the camera when it came out the passenger window. Looks like she caught a fair action shot there!

Although we thought we'd made an incorrect turn onto the gravel road, it would seem (looking at the photos) that the head of the pack not far up the road jumped to the same conclusion we did! Ferni reassured us with his GPS but Ash was as confused as us :P

Anyway, I'm looking forward to further outings as I've enjoyed every single one so far.

did u end up stopping in marysville??

Yeah, about 20 of us bought lunch from the same little takeaway place and there was only two people working in there! I think it was the most customers they had ever had at one time!!! We had to wait ages... but it was tasty! :cooldance

Thanks to everyone that showed up - hope you all had a good time.

And I have to have the big appologies for the minor errors in the cruise route / cruise notes.

The only section we didn't cover on the scouting cruise had about 4km's of gravel. We do these scouting cruises to make sure there IS NO GRAVEL or otherwise "unskyline friendly" roads but if you knew how many roads we travel in these scouting cruises and how many we have to scrub off you will know that sometimes its almost impossible to cover every km - so you rely on stupid things like maps for giving you acurate information.

But again sorry for that inconvenience. And also with the Beenak Rd thing (for those that went home the "easy way" from Healsvile you won't know about this little issue) Shame cause for me that last section was the most enjoyable for the day.

But otherwise, the weather was nice, the roads were never boring, and the cars we fantastic. Big thanks to James for giving me Golgo for half the cruise and to Brandon for taking me home.

Thanks to the people that organised the cruise, my girlfriend and I had a really good time on our first skyline cruise. Sorry about the error with our melways, I just didn't want to go down another dirt road. :(

Jason

Had a ball.

My mate really enjoyed it too, now I have him contemplating a Skyline.

I'll convince him I'm sure.

Great roads and seeing the look on the local yocals faces as twenty odd Skylines cruised by was priceless.

Congrats to organisers for a great day.

One suggestion is that maybe next time we take the BBQ pack as we seemed to all filter off during lunch and a BBQ would keep everyone together and chatting amongst ourselves.

But all in all, a great day.
