,.|.. o_o

u know what makes it even worse??

next week i have to work 4-12... so another wasted friday night

the week after i have to work 6-2am!!!

*** man.... i need a new job

yeah mate im scared of someone who doesnt even have their licence.

u see... some of us work in these things called full time jobs... if u wanna pay the $200 i miss out on for not working friday i will be there with bells on

if anything u should be glad... incase u end up being beaten by a std engine vs ur modified one.... ouch that would have to hurt the ego.

just make sure once u dont do too many runs... u will probably end up having to rebuild the engine otherwise... we all know how rotors are :)

oh my what was that thread about an rb25 droping its guts the other day? does this mean all rb25's are weak and break easiliy? no, so the same goes for rotors, dont generalise :)

Yeh your right.

anyway, most rotary's are stronger then a piston... with NRC seals you cant go wrong, bullet proof.

if anything your RB26 will blow since that hasnt had a 1,000klm old rebuild.

you honeslty dont know anything about rotary's from your words.

il line up a rotor..

:-)

yeh should be there friday nite .. just gota iron out tail shaft problem..

my cars green ;-P old man green.. got no cooler or nothing.....showin...

REDFC u running friday nite?

any one know da weither?

is it gonna even be worth getting the thing ready?

thats where ur wrong... seeing as 2 of my mates have 10second street rotors which have been rebuilt 5 times each.

one RB25 drops its guts out of the plethera of rotors that do... mind u most of the rotors are puting out massive times and worked quite extensively... so i guess that doesnt help lol

    • Recaro sr3 I've always found comfy, compared to my stock r33 gtst and bride fixed back.  Can get them cheapish from a Honda owner.
    • Does your rb gearbox have the common input shaft bearing sound? (One one where it goes away when u push the clutch in or get to higher revs) I heard if you put the wrong oil it can get this sound.
    • There's more than one way to skin that cat, and most of the sump Maatouks have done will be GTR sumps. They are HUGE in GTR drag racing here.
    • Yeah...I always start at the shift solenoids, because there's only a few reasons these will spook into limp mode, and bad shift solenoids is one ~ the other can be the shift control module (if you have steering wheel shift buttons)...it's easier to eliminate the solenoids first.
    • Might piggy back off this thread since there's been a good discussion about PWM.   I purchased a Walbro 460 F90000267 and have been looking into PWM to understand it. It was purchased more of a future proof as my original OEM fuel pump died (r33 below 200kw) and figured I'd just upgrade it to this. That's when it hit me that a pump this big can cause more dramas with such high amperage draw and heating of the fuel pump being on 100% all the time in such a mild setup.   I have a Nexus R3 and slowly collecting power mods but I was looking into the PWM feature on the NSP software:   Then looking at the graph from the fuel pump:     Am I safe to assume reducing duty cycle to 50% for example would make the pump run like a 230/lph ? Where does the PWM come in all of this ?   I've gone down the rabbit hole of PWM fuel pumps and it seems there are many differing opinions on how to go about it 😅
