series 1 and 2 bonnet question

hey guys

just wondering, i know they are a different design and all, but will a series 1 bonnet fit on a series 2 gts-t. I'm lookin for carbon bonnets, and there a few i like that say available for series 1 gts-t's, so would they fit on a series 2

Nope. They are different. Bonnets are not interchangeable.

no they arent.

you can always change your headlights and grile to S1 to make it fit but i dont know anyone that would:D:D i have though seen several S1 with the S2 conversions done to them.

For a Series 1 Owner to convert their skyline to a series 2 version they have to change:

The Bonnet (Series 2 Is a bit longer since lights are smaller)

Headlights (Series 2 Has More Thin design with the headlights)

Grill (Series 2 Headlights have diff support for the grill mounts)

Front Bar (Series 2 Headlights stick out more as compared to series 1 headlight)

Bumper Support (Not Sure if you have to change this but I know some people have)

Personally I have seen better designs for series 2 bonnets as compared to series 1 bonnet.

You dont have to swap the bumper support as you can cut the S1 bumper support to fit. A bloke in perth has done it.
