who is the fcuk was driving these cars? a 2 yr old?

stock gtr is 12.8 sec 1/4 mile

stock supra is 13.4 secs 1/4 mile

they both have the pro's and cons but we were talking between gtst and rz

if u can afford it, buy the supra dude.

to be honest, i find a stock gtr boring. i prefer my gtst

i think thats the "rating" for R34 GTR?

R33 is rated around 13.2/3?

also he has used the rating for stock supra too... so does the stock supra run 13.4?

My brothers dead stock 33GTR ran 13.2. he has since removed the boost restrictor (boost up from 12-14psi) and got an extra 22 or so AWKW.

I would still consider it stock and I think it would get close to breaking into the 12's. if you have a good clutch, tyres, launch at 7G+ and have a good fresh motor it is possible to get these sort of times.

Hey, so it even had stock exhaust? thats a good time, im sure the 7+ grand launches help but i dont believe it gained 22AWKW by removing the boost restrictor. and its not really stock anymore because it runs an extra ~2psi boost..

I would believe it if it had an aftermarket exhaust. i say this because a friend of mine has a dead stock r33 gtr, (motor is in good condition) and just for an experiement about 2 months ago we removed the boost restrictor, took it for a drive and it seemed to come onto full boost harder, but not much of a power gain overall. so we suck it back in, and put the lack of extra power down to the stock exhaust being a restriction.

on another friends gtr, when it only had a full exhaust, it made a big difference when the boost restrictor was removed.

thats my car.. it went from 140awkw-162awkw (12-14.5psi) after the boost restrictor was removed...it hits boost harder now and pulls a bit harder especially in 3rd gear. I think with a full exhaust the boost would most probably creep up a bit more (16psi?). anyway my freinds GTR with full exhaust and no restrictor only runs 13psi on same dyno. so I guess there is some variation between cars.

and for the record I ran the car with the restrictor intact.
