How much would i need to get a R33 GTR engine??

i want to know how much a GTR engine would cost and how i would go about gaining one, like where abouts, how, or if its even possible to get just the enigine. i just bought a GTS4 and want it as a little project to make it into a "godly" car ....... need to beat a XR6 turbo

~$7k seems to be the 'over-the-web' price. I am sure you could do better than that by searching around and negotiating.

Yeah, but the problem is that they are over in Japan. Add on:

Japanese buyer fees

Domestic Japan shipping

Japanese packing charges

Then depending on if it's air freighted or land

Quarantine and inspection

Actual shipping charges

Then it's landed here...

Local customs agent to clear

Quarantine

Customs and taxation charges

Local delivery

Quite quickly that "cheap" part becomes a nightmare, then add on the fact that the motor is actually blown and has a rod hanging out the side of it (don't laugh, have gotten a few like that) so all you can do is suck it and try to salvage something out of it...
