Where's the engine number help

I've got a GTir but. i've got an RB25det in the garage ready to sell. My mate wants the engine number though. Where the bloody hell is it???

Any ideas anyone??

engine number on rb25 is on the front of the engine on the intake side just under the water pump , it maybe a bit rusty ( cast iron ).

are you serious man?water pump? its no where near there its same as rb20 etc

its on exhaust side of block at rear only 26 is above altinator

sorry man , my mistake , yea rb26 is where i said , rb 25 is on the exhaust side near the ring gear and low on the block .
