Unusual Turbo Spooling Noise

Hey ppls

My turbo is making an unusual squealing sound on full boost. I know it isnt the normal spooling noise a turbo makes... so no smart ar5e remarks!

It sounds like the air is struggling/screeching to get in - kinda like a pig squealing or the sound a balloon makes when someone lets the air out of a tiny hole.

My car is all stock except for an air pod and exhaust.

Anyone have any ideas?

If I get a dump pipe put on - will the gasket also be replaced then?

could also be a leak post turbo inlet ...

i had a clamp come lose once on my mr3 tubby, and made a noise like a baloon being annoyingly squealed ..

check all your clamps and hoses ... this prolly the cheap and quick options
