my subs died ): dunno what happen i was playing it then it cut out...plays again...cuts out...plays a again a few times then it just died altogether!!! the amp light isn't on and i dunno if its the fuse thats connected from the amp to the battery has blown...it looks black/brownish like corroded or something.....

well if your amp isnt lighting up it appears to be the reason. Check your fuses, your wiring fuse and your amp fuses too. Your amp should have 1 or 2 fuses built in so check them (my amp has 2 * 30 amp fuses which are green and located near the power input of the amp). Check all your connections but ill bet its the power cable if not the fuse.

If that all fails you should try temporarily replacing the amp which may eliminate it as the culprit.

ah man i hate this system.... i bought a new fuse but then the amp and sub died again... it was playing then cut off....turn everything off turn on again played for few seconds then died again! the earth wire didn't seem loose, i tightened it but no response -,- battery can't be flat coz its new! is the amp mean't to heat up really quick? cause it feels reallyyyyyy warm and it was on for only a minute. how do i get the fuse out of the amp? do i pull it hard? i'm gonna go crazy soon! -,-

yep, amps get warm quickly and get hot after a while of high usage. Most come built in with heat-synchs and fans to disperse heat quickly so are designed to withstand the heat so dont worry about that.

The fuses can be taken out by gripping the sides and simply pulling em out. They are quite cheap and most electronic stores stock them.

Its possible that your amp is the problem, if you are in a position of obtaining a temporary replacement to use as a check it might help.

Is it only the sub thats affected or the whole system?? if its the whole system it could be your head unit
