R31 POWER
That pic looks like my oil thingy in the GT2535 but you can't see the smaller hole in the pic. Russco
My pair of HKS 2530s each needed a restrictor however these were older units, not the GT series like yours - GCGs advice supports what the other guys have said above ie you do not need a restrictor on the GT series. raist60
George that picture that you posted is just the way that the fittings seal themselves properly. At the top left of this chart you wil see a cutsection pic of the GT series showing quite clearly some very fine passages leading to bearings... http://www.gcg.com.au/technical/garrett%20...ng%20chra's.jpg Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/54424-important-tip-when-installing-bb-turbos/page/2/#findComment-1081815 Share on other sites
R31Nismoid
As i said before yogi000That isnt the restrictor. As i said, its internal. you cant see it unless you pull the cartridge apart and look at the bearing casing you dont need a restrictor at all Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/54424-important-tip-when-installing-bb-turbos/page/2/#findComment-1082344 Share on other sites
