Over 500 a week for an apartment. Lol. This isn't Sydney what a rip. You can get 4 bedroom places for that.

Considering $400 a week in Belco for a 1bedroom.. this is a steal. Also,not including houses.

Last House I was in (Holt approx 16mnths ago) was a 4 Beddy with single Carport, Ensuite, Backyard etc for $435 / week.

Split between 3 people was cheap.

I don't see the point of paying to live in the city unless you're a mega socialite.... I'm talking constant night-clubber, dinners out with friends most nights of the week, heaps of friends always in the city to have drinks with etc etc.

Otherwise, just pay less and have a cool house!

But I work next door / across the road Who wouldn't want to go home for lunch everyday ?! !!!! But yeah true... if you didn't abuse the city it would kinda be a waste. Would still love to rent it though

Absolute f**king joke. Regardless of whether it affects us or not, we should be horrified legislation like this is even able to get through. Scary times people, and it ain't getting better. Not even specifically regarding road and traffic laws, or anything to do with such things like this bikie law - some of the shit going on really raises the question of whether or not we're even a true democracy any more. I mean, unless the definition of "the people" in the case of democracy is just those inside parliament running the show...seems they're the only ones with a say in this stuff haha
