Over 500 a week for an apartment. Lol. This isn't Sydney what a rip. You can get 4 bedroom places for that.

Considering $400 a week in Belco for a 1bedroom.. this is a steal. Also, not including houses.

I don't see the point of paying to live in the city unless you're a mega socialite.... I'm talking constant night-clubber, dinners out with friends most nights of the week, heaps of friends always in the city to have drinks with etc etc.

Otherwise, just pay less and have a cool house!

But I work next door / across the road :( Who wouldn't want to go home for lunch everyday ?! :O !!!! But yeah true... if you didn't abuse the city it would kinda be a waste. Would still love to rent it though :)

Let's not start that debate Richard :P given it's Gen X+Y's faults that the current generation of "stay at home bludgers" are the way they are. How can you expect them to afford their own house when you've ruined the market? haha

What're people's thoughts on this: http://www.independentaustralia.net/2013/politics/queenslands-anti-bikies-laws-were-all-criminals-now/

Absolute f**king joke. Regardless of whether it affects us or not, we should be horrified legislation like this is even able to get through. Scary times people, and it ain't getting better. Not even specifically regarding road and traffic laws, or anything to do with such things like this bikie law - some of the shit going on really raises the question of whether or not we're even a true democracy any more. I mean, unless the definition of "the people" in the case of democracy is just those inside parliament running the show...seems they're the only ones with a say in this stuff haha

Tyrepower will defs be able to help you.

Like Richard said, im still with livings with my rents, dont pay shit but i have to pay all my hefty uni fees. I wont move out till I graduate and get a job. That way i might even buy a house straight up. If the 34 doesnt get in the way too much.
