Anyone know if Canberra has much of a rally scene or anything close by?

I was thinking about possibly getting a shit box and possibly learning how to rally. Probably been watching to many rally vids on YouTube but it looks really fun!

I'm going to have to read up on what the regulations are and how much they cost.

The plan isn't to go out there and win or even try to win, it would just be to have some fun and learn.

If you want to learn, buy a Charade/swift etc...something cheap that has plenty of cheap spares available

The Light Car Club of Canberra runs khana cross events.

Could be a good place to start if you like getting in the mud!

Yeah khanas are a good start point. You can win in a $200 car with no cage.

This was on Sunday at Gundaroo. $40 entry fee.

The idea was to buy charade or something equivalent and put a half cage in, strip the interior and just bolt a nice bucket seat in. Then enter as many events as possible.

Can't believe that event was $40! Sounds like so much fun!
