I'm fairly sure it's okay but when I see a metallic like substance after I drain the oil into a bottle I freak out a bit.

There wasn't anything on the magnetic plug but not everything in there is magnetic.

I might do a dry and wet compression test as well.

You can get a kit in which you take an oil sample and mail it off and they send you a report

So I've been tinkering in the workshop (waiting for more parts for the Segway to arrive) and I made a "clappa". ya'know, where you clap your hands twice and the lights turn on/off.

It's really freakin awesome, sitting on the couch thinking damn the movies started and the lights still on and i wish i didn't have to get up and turn them off... But now I just clap my hands twice and the lights turn off!

If i can get the production speed and costs down a bit i might make a bunch of them, a couple of work colleagues already want a couple.

Any interest for this out there in the non-electricians world?
