LOL you doofus.... I just saw the repeat. Was nothing to do with Canberra - the guy said he was coming to Canberra to take on the bureaucrats.

He was saying we should all drive at whatever speed we want and then the speed that *most* people did would become the speed limit for that road. NRMA said he was an idiot because the current limits were there after lots of studies by experts.

That was the basic gist of it anyway.

Absolutely agreed ... Insurance companies arent known to be very understanding when it comes to getting money out of people who don't have insurance. Get some 3rd Party Only Insurance ... but get quotes, and I think some provide short term or monthly repayments.

You have to be over 25 to be with Shannons. That basically leaves you with Just Car iirc.. I looked into it for a while.. being only 20 when I bought my car
