Haha that's hilarious!

Are you taking your own car to the track day? My 33 runs out of rego this Tuesday so I won't be taking it, but I'll keep an eye out for your car

Hmmm... Start it up and jiggle every electrical connection under the bonnet and see if you can get it to happen again.

AFMs, Ignitor, CAS, O2, Coolant Sensor, injectors etc... If nothing then check Fuel system. ie. Pump is ok? Electrical Plug, Filter, Got Petrol in tank?

Just food for thought Eric to start with.

When I put a Bosch 044 in the 33 I earthed out the pump wires so the pump always ran at full capacity rather than dropping to low speed at idle etc.

It Definitely ran stronger.

If you still have the Factory pump in there, maybe it's time for an Upgrade.

Just a question to those that have had an unregistered vehicle permit for a day before. It says on the rego.act website that you may need an inspection report of the vehicle if applicable.

Has anyone actually ever needed an inspection report before?

Cheers

Never needed one for the UVP. Had to get one when I first brought the car in from Japan in both SA and ACT jurisdictions. It's usually just a piece of paper from over the counter. I was told though that the UVP was only good for driving the car within ACT so had to run the gauntlet briefly to get it over to ESP which was only a few 100 metres outside of the border.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Chris.

Yeah I did notice that it is for ACT only but then also noticed on RMS it says "NSW recognises permits issued in all other jurisdictions provided the vehicle is operated in accordance with the conditions of the home jurisdiction."

But then I suppose to the ACT UVP conditions are that its for the ACT only anyway, so catch 22.

My car runs out of rego on the 20th and because I'm between jobs at the moment I don't want to pay for rego when I've already got my daily rego'd. We've got this track day on the 24th :( I'm thinking I may just go halvsies and hire a car with another guy again.
