Hey,

I'm thinking of getting a r33 gts-t non turbo skyline

how much would u think a fairly modded one would cost at lowest, i.e. with a 3" exhaust, bodykit with wing.

i want to know if some would be seen as a rip off or not.

also, would a manual be a lot quicker than an auto r33 non turbo?

Are r33 gts-t non turbo skylines really rare??

cos most of them are turbo that i see posted on the net.

Thanks!!

see yas

mate if your willing to pay more for a modified one then why dont you get a cheap stock gtst turbo model which will chop a non turbo any day

if you buy a non turbo you will wish you had the turbo simple as that

bear in mind your car must returned to stock if you plan to bring one in from japan and complaince it. if you wanna keep the parts then thats between you and your compliance agent if they agree

:D

be better to purchase a turbo skyline; most R33's these days come with the usual mods; ie bov, pod, rims etc... nonturbos look like shit(no offence to anyone on here) and woudl take a fair couple of thousand dollars to get what you want; you can get all this already on a turbo skyline....

just as the others said on here; just check up on carsales.com.au and other sites like that for one.. there are heaps to choose from..

yeah.. im just saying, the look of a stock non turbo skyline isnt the best sight... no doubt it would look good with some advan 18" and sports kit... but for the price of all that to get a N/A skyline to what he wants, you could buy a turbo skyline, have more power and also look good and sound good :D

yes a man n/a will be faster than the auto n/a... but if you want pod and all of what you listed, then your going have to save up some dosh; like you want to kit it and lower it etc? well you'll need money for that...

just saying it would of been a cheaper solution(in short term with price, not insurance :D) if you went with a turbo r33...

no doubt it will look sweet... good luck man.. i personally dont like the n/a skylines.. bosted all the way :(

R33 GTS and GTSt, look the same, same body, same interior, same stock body kit, only visible difference AFAIK is the gtst sticker on the back of a gtst and 4 stud wheel hubs on the GTS where GTSt has 5 stud.

im 21 and full comprehensive on my gts25 is 1500, i asked for a quote of a turbo before i bought my car and they said something like 3-3500G's. thats a big difference. this is from just cars.

i love the brakes on the turbo r33. non-turbo brakes looks like honda fwd brakes!

hay man if your not all for power but want looks and a nice note the non turbo is great and full comp is not that bad from just cars "i have one at the moment" and its great.

just telling u i have one for sale with full bodykit, wheels and stero so if you want to i can post some photos if you would like it.

one thing no one knows when crusing that it is not a turbo so unlees your after power the non turbo is a great car to cruise and have fun in

thats just my 2 cents so take what you want.

mate i own a non turbo r33 (couldn't get finance for gtst) but in this day with cops and insurance if al u want is a skyline the an gts will be fine. myne doesn't look bad at all if you want some pics i will send but all the turbos are good for besides use for the track is the sound it makes which in turn attracts more unwanted attention and fines, which i would rather spend on my car haha (talking from experience and lack of money and points) good luck bro
