I am having a bit of trouble with my window washers, when i pull the wiper arm back to squirt the windscreen with water, nothing happens, the wipers still do their thing but the washer motor is broken.... has anyone else had this problem? or know where the pump is....

It is not a problem with a blocked hose and started when i got my car back from the spray shop!!!! weird or it could have been the accident!!!

any help would be appreciated

(Oh yeah and after spending 4 days downloading the service manual i find that there is nothing on the windscreen washers!!! so gay!

Would help if you told us which particular model? I know it can't be a R32, because they use a push-button to activate the washer. It could be a R30, because I know they use a pull on the lever that activates the wiper to activate the washer. In the R30, it's tucked under the LH engine bay skirt, outboard of the air cleaner / meter.

Your (idiot) repairer (probably the apprentice, actually) probably forgot to reconnect the wires to the motor.

motors of the 33 sit outside the container just behind the drivers lights, and not under the container.

do the motors make any noise to indicate that theyre working?? does your rear wiper one work too?? could be just a bad connection. if one works an the other doesnt swap the plugs around to find out if its the motor thats actually stuffed or the connection.

Yep, look just behind the RH headlight down the side of the washer water container (it's got water in it right?!?!) and the pump motors for the front and rear washers are there.

The container assembly is very easy to remove, is held in by 3 bolts.

If the motor works, then check the pipe to the bonnet squirters for kinks, blocks etc.
