Broke my second clutch pedal box tonite and had to get my car towed home. Was wanting to have a go at replacing it myself. I know you need to get to it from the firewall side (master cylinder?) I had one replaced last year and now I will put in a modified box with heavier welds to make sure of things. I am running a heavy duty daikan clutch which wouldnt have helped things, and I must be pretty hard on the pedal to break it as the last pedal box I busted I had the stock clutch in.

Any thoughts on the exercise? Is it easy to do?

the car is a 32 gtst.

thanks for the replies guys. I have got a tilt tray lined up for tomorrow morning to take it to my mechanic - I couldnt be fuct tooling around with it (the weather is too hot) and I dont have the right tools nor a hoist. Piece of mind. Gonna get it strengthened so it will be indestructible this time :P
