Going Single

Well we removed the twins off our R33 GTR - and one of the turbos was totally screwed. The compressor housing was broken, fluids in the turbo...it was a bad thing. Funny thing, the car made over 300 RWHP basically on one of the tiny turbos. Now on to the fun stuff...SINGLE TURBO CONVERSION!

Not very many Skylines in the states...let alone one that has a big nasty Single conversion this should be interesting. What do you guys think? Any suggestions, tips compaints whatever.

Should be a nice setup!! What other support mods have you got for a turbo that size? What boost do you intend running? whats it like woning a gtr in the states, i've allways wonderd about that...

Alot of people have no idea what they are looking at...then others get tremendous whiplash when we drive by...all depends on if they are in the scene or not. We are looking for 500+hp

Aeromotive Fuel Pump

Big Fuel Lines (can't remember the size)

770cc injectors

Apexi Power FC

We intend to run about 1 bar of boost...or around 15psi.

What is that turbo designed for?? 500+hp and 1 bar of boost would have been better with a pair of GT 2530's.

Designed for??? Well it is designed for us to make big power at of the 2.6 liter beast, we call an RB - actually what do you mean?

We got a really good deal on this turbo....this turbo has been used on MK4 Supra's and FD RX-7's

with a turbo big enough for the rotor and 2jzgte, it will be slow to spool, but if you have everything else in place should push 600hp+ at the rear wheels ~ 1.4bar.

What did you pick it up for? was it an entire kit?

No kit...we traded a ITS GT-80 turbo for it. We are making the tubular manifold and everything else...it will be utilizing a HKS Race gate too. If it is too slow, that's ok we have the bottle for that!!!
