Autronic ECU vs. Apexi Power FC

Whats the difference between the two? Is there any major benefits of one over the other?

seems the PFC is very popular due to it's 'pre-programed' nature. and it is a good price.

Is there any *technical* reason to pick one over the other?

Does one grant more features? Because the Power FC is preprogrammed does that mean it cannot be adjusted?

Have a search though the forums, their is all ready a thread on Power fc and Autronic.

The main reason is that FC is a much cheaper option then what a Autronic system is in skylines.

And the Power FC is a direct replacement, where autronic you have to re-wire you loom and by the other options to work with the ECU, eg sensors, ignition systems.

Go the PowerFC.. i have seen nothing but loss of hair with the Autronic, or Alltragic as some call it.

I'm sure the Autronic is good if you can get someone to install and tune it who knows what they are doing..

Go autronic if you are building a high hp car for drag or circuit so you can tune more indepth with it.

If just a street car then go pfc so much easier to install and adjust with.

everyone is on a budget. PFC is the best bang for your buck.

if youve got endless money then of course get a motec/autronic but then your costs are going up and up, and unless your building one high powered car. You'll see no real benefit
