the hunt for preloved tyres

hey guys,

i know its a long shot looking for second hand tyres in 18s but i figured id try anywayz

here's the deal, im shopping around for Jap 17" rims, more drift style so my 18s will be for sale in abt 1-2 months time... however, i need tyres as the insides are worn and i drove over a nail on the left side. i dont wanna have to buy new ones if im gonna use them for like 2 months.. new tyres wont get me my money back when i sell them with the rims in future...

so, if any of u have suitable tyres for an 18x8 rim... please let me know. I'm running 235x40x18s on the rear fyi

yeah im lazy to go around lol nah its coz tyre shops say 18s in 2nd hand are rare..... i went to Weststate Tyres but they dont have much at the moment

i've found that tyre guys dont wanna even touch 18s in 2nd hand. I phoned around heaps of places when i was after some 265x35x18 and most of them laughed at me. Im after some 245x40x18 at the moment for the front if any1 knows of them cheap

how much do you want to spend? ive seen 18's retail for a little over 160 or so.

btw, i found that Swan Tyres have any size u need in 2nd hand, even 19s

Not sure on brand but they were at west state tyres. I saw the price and my jaw dropped as theyd be good for cruising tyres.

that cheap ( i think they were 170 or so actually but still cheap ) , dont expect anything good. they are probably hard as **** but will last a lifetime.
